Chianti Classico DOCG “Gallo Nero’s supremacy”

90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo  After a selection of the best grapes, the wine is fermented in steel tanks. It rests in steel for 6 months, followed by a further 12 months of aging, the 50% in French oak Barriques and 50% in Tonneaux. After being bottled it rests for 6 months in the bottle.  It shows a ruby dress with hints of evolution. Both the 2015 and 2018 vintages showed seductive traits and a character of remarkable typicality. In the mouth it is soft and balanced with evolving refined tannins. On the nose it releases hints of leather, tobacco and dried violet, on a fruity background.  Recommended pairing: Florentine tripe or stewed wild boar
